Hi, I am Angkan, recent ESADE MBA grad and absolute venture fanatic with a very global background. I spent the last 6 years working around ventures, in growth, product and on the investment side all around the world.
After a few years of working as a writer in the US, then in a shipyard in China, I found my real passion was in working in high growth setups and embracing new opportunities.
I started my career in Shanghai with a media site looking at deals in the fintech space which led to me working for an investor group setting up an incubator, sourcing startups and founders, mentoring them and connecting other investors. I then spent time working/ consulting in growth for several startups around the world.
And now… a recent MBA graduate from ESADE in Barcelona, with a passion for supporting high growth founders with lessons from my failures and encouragement from my successes, I am looking for new opportunities
I believe in targeted, strategic execution and love learning from anyone who has had the courage to venture out into ventures.
What I’m Up To
Currently, I’ve been tasked with creating and executing growth strategy for Brickken into the Asian market. And after work, I serve as a mentor at eWorks, where I provide guidance and support to emerging entrepreneurs, leveraging my experience to help them navigate the path to success.
I also work with a select few investors and founders to connect them to opportunities that may be of interest to them.
Global Experience
I was lucky to grow up in Singapore around people from all over the world, which has established in me a great sense of versatility and the ability to be comfortable anywhere.
I then did my undergrad degree in Economics in the US and worked there for a little bit.
My career has afforded me the privilege of working in diverse cultural and business environments across the globe. From my experiences in Singapore, China, the US, the UK, India and Dubai, to my current base in Spain, I’ve gained invaluable insights into international markets and the nuances of building and conducting business on a global scale.
